This year’s run is going to be super emotional, so bring some kleenex for Jerry’s last run. It’s also cold and windy along the water and a toque and gloves will come in handy, great season-ending run for some, a PB course if ever there was one. Indoor area before and after really helps.

An amazing race, and an incredible celebration of Jerry. The run is so well organized – like Kevin McKinnon called it, it is truly a runner’s race. Excellent, flat, scenic route. Magnificent volunteers. And very yummy treats post race. This was my 1st year doing the race. I did it for Jerry – to celebrate his amazing life and legacy. I will be back. We all should be back and continue to support Jodi and the kids… and keeping Jerry’s legacy alive and running!

Nice view of Grimsby’s surrounding rural area and back towards the hotels located right off the QEW. Could not have been done without Jerry Friesen and his years of hard work in the running community of Niagara. He will be greatly missed.

I’ve run this race for the last 3 year. It’s a great run, mostly flat in the Niagara Region. This last one was a heartbreaking one, as the race organizer Jerry Friesen had recently passed away. It was amazing how everyone came together to run in memory of him. Will never forget it!
