International Running in 'the most lawless country in the world'

Mohammed, Abdallah, Abdinasir and Samia made up the Somali team at the East Africa Junior Championships held in Djibouti. I sat down with them between events to learn about running in what has been termed 'the most lawless country in the world.'

International Mahbooba Ahadgar was a symbol of hope for a nation caught in a cycle of chaos. The young girl in the headscarf and track suit was the only female competitor to come out of Afghanistan for the Beijing Olympics. Then, on Friday July 4, she disappeared without a trace.
