MAUI PRINCE HOTEL (MAKENA, HI) – Hamish Carter, 35, from Auckland, New Zealand and Melanie McQuaid, 33, from Victoria, B.C., Canada won their respective pro divisions on a trademark hot and sunny day on Maui’s South Shore this afternoon.

Toronto was well-represented last week in Chicago...how was your weekend in comparison??? Jay and Bill showing off their 1st place medals in Toronto, August 2006. That's Jay on the left... Note: Jay Brecher and Bill Wells represented Toronto at the inaugural Bell City Chase World Championships, earning their position after winning the Toronto August event. Jay recently ran a 2:35 marathon at ScotiaBank, and Bill Wells is an accomplished runner, Adventure Racer and Triathlete. They're both nuts of course...
