What’s better? Running 5K or walking 5K?

The answer is obvious, no? Well as you have probably guessed by now I wouldn’t be asking the question if it was.

Yet another sports exercise study (don’t scientists have anything else to do?) has concluded that during the first 20 mins of a 5K run you are burning mostly sugars and protein but during a brisk walk of the same duration you are burning mostly fat.

So I suppose the answer to the question all depends on what you want to achieve – to lose weight or to get fitter.
